But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,  (Ephesians 2:4)

Paul here writes about the riches of GOD’s mercy. how did Paul learn that GOD’s mercy is rich ?

Psalmist says, Psalms 104:34

My meditation of him shall be sweet:
I will be glad in the Lord.

Our soul need to experience GOD and it needs to travel the depths of God’s goodness. Soul need to pertain the things of GOD and tuned to know God and God alone. In the process, our dead lives will be quickened as per the promise of life which is in CHRIST JESUS – Our Lord. Paul had been through such experiences in his travel which is into the depths of God’s goodness. Oh.. It will be sweet and it will reveal the great love of God.

In the story of rich man and beggar Lazarus, the rich man cried for mercy in the hell. But oh.. he sought for mercy where mercy is seized for eternity. we should understand that all the mercy of God came upon mankind through Christ Jesus. The rich man was buried when he died and the beggar Lazarus was been carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom.

Let your life not be buried but let it travel(be carried) the depth’s of God’s goodness to know Jesus more and more. JESUS CHRIST himself is the mercy of God in our lives and may your life learn and be filled with more & more of the mercy of God. Travel in the depths of his mercy.
