And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the Lord. (Genesis 4:26)

Adam have seen two great tragic moments.

firstly, his separation from God and

secondly, the death of his son Abel.

When Adam was sent out of the garden of eden, we can understand the pain he might have gone through. The reason is, tree of life has been taken away from him and he could eat no fruit of it any more. Tree of knowledge of good and evil brought nakedness in his life, We find ourselves naked whenever we ignore JESUS. Mingling with God and world is never accepted. Remember that our God is Holy and there is no darkness & no evil in him.

But god covered the nakedness of Adam & Eve, By which Adam understood that some day saviour would come to cover the nakedness of mankind with his divine holiness. But the death of Abel might have caused great grief in the life of Adam and he might have thought ‘ how will saviour come ?’ Abel is dead and cain is wicked.

God made a way. God’s wisdom is beyond human thinking. God blessed Adam & Eve with another child and they named him Seth and there was born a son to Seth, named him Enos.

When Seth was born Eve said, God hath appointed me another ‘seed’. and there was born a son to Seth, named him Enos and then began men to call upon the name of the LORD. Oh, they started calling upon the name of JESUS because they understood that JESUS will come from the family of Seth. God’s provided way it is..

What a celebration it was, they started to call upon the name of the LORD. That’s the way God hath provided and they sought over it. Bible says, whosoever call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved.

That’s the eternal way which God hath made for us and he himself is the way, JESUS is the WAY.. He is our ‘LORD

’’Seek JESUS, celebrate him and call upon his name’..
